Flooring/Walls Protective Coatings

Once our customer's needs have been established, high performance floor/wall coatings and screeds are applied to provide a highly durable and wear-resistant surface. The surface is first prepared by removal of latency using the method of mechanical abrading or track blast – this will remove any corrosion or previously applied coatings. This also ensures the correct environment for the high integrity coating system, which will be applied in turn.

Once the surface has been prepared to the required standard, a sealer coat is applied by roller, followed by 2 top coats to a dry film thickness (DFT) of 1.5mm. All paints used are a high performance coating system, for which we have 'Approved Applicator' status from a number of established manufacturers. We also provide anti-static aystems and conductive coatings.

Walkways / Foot Passages: if these are required, they will receive an anti-skid or non-slip coat of a high performance approved paint system.

Some materials which might be used are polyurethane screeds, solvent-free flexible epoxy floor coatings and acrylics as well as bituminous, epoxy and polyurethane finishes.

Some of the projects we have undertaken involving Flooring and Walls are shown in the accompanying photos.
